Malic Acid

Malic acid is a naturally occurring fruit acid that adds a crisp, apple-like tartness to home wine and cider. It is commonly used to adjust acidity and balance flavour in your finished brew. Use 1 tsp per 4L to raise acidity by approximately 1.5%, or adjust to taste.
