Authentic Replacement Filter Elements for All Berkey® Water Filter Systems
Black Berkey® Elements are the heart of every Berkey® gravity filtration system, compatible with the Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial, Crown, Berkey Light, and Go Berkey. Tested by accredited third-party labs, they exceed EPA and ANSI/NSF (Std. 53) protocols, addressing 200+ typical contaminants found in tap water and freshwater sources. Each element mechanically extracts waterborne pathogens while dramatically reducing protozoa, trihalomethanes, inorganic minerals, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, VOCs, petroleum products, perfluorinated chemicals, rust, silt, sediment, and even radiologicals — delivering clean, great-tasting water that retains the healthy minerals your body needs for less than 2 cents per gallon.
Each set of 2 elements is recommended for replacement every 3,000 gallons (6,000 gallons per set), though replacement may be needed sooner depending on source water quality. Also removes or reduces: arsenic, fluorene, manganese, MBAS, PCBs, petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, crude oil, kerosene, mineral spirits, refined oil), selenium, thallium, rust, silt, sediment, turbidity, and foul tastes and odours.
