Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is a natural, water-soluble antioxidant that preserves colour and prevents oxidation in home wine, cider, and beer. It is especially useful at bottling time to keep your finished brew looking and tasting fresh. Use ½ tsp per 4L, or as directed by your recipe.
