Maltodextrin is a non-fermentable, flavour-neutral carbohydrate used in home brewing to fine-tune the body, mouthfeel, and head retention of your beer without adding sweetness or affecting alcohol content. It can be added at the wort stage for extract brews or during the boil for all-grain batches. Use 115–250g per 23L batch, or as directed by your recipe.
