What's Included?:
Fermaid K is a complete yeast nutrient for wine, mead, beer, and cider fermentation. It supplies yeast-assimilable nitrogen, vitamins, minerals, sterols, and fatty acids to help yeast ferment with strength and consistency.
Why use Fermaid K?
- Supports healthy yeast growth and fermentation progress
- Helps yeast tolerate alcohol and reduces fermentation stress
- Provides nutrients that can help limit off-aromas and sluggish fermentations
- Helps absorb compounds that may be toxic to yeast while keeping yeast suspended
How to use
Add Fermaid K in split doses, typically once after pitching yeast and again when about one-third of the sugar has fermented. A common dosage is approximately 1g per gallon (1tsp per 5gal/23L batch). Dissolve in a small amount of water before adding to reduce foaming.
Suitable for home brewing, winemaking, meadmaking, and cider making.
