How to Calibrate:
Place about 10 drops of clean, filtered water (ideally deionized) onto the refractometer’s sample plate.
Using either direct sunlight or the built-in LED light, check the blue boundary line.
If the reading is not 1.000, adjust the calibration screw on the underside of the unit with a flathead screwdriver until the scale reads 1.000.
