Of Californian origin, it has less pronounced characteristics resembling Pinot Gris more closely than Tokay. With heightened green fruit aromas and medium acidity, it is often produced as a soft wine to allow the organoleptic qualities to come through and produce a rich and creamy wine with a lingering finish.
